Sandi came to Polercise™ looking for a new challenge after retiring from competitive fitness. With 10 national top 5 finishes, an overall national championship title, and professional status in the IFFBB, she was ready to move on to the next big adventure and quickly fell in love with pole fitness.
Stephanie has always had a love for the arts. She has a background of gymnastics and dance in ballet, lyrical, and jazz. After being a part of a competitive dance team that traveled throughout Florida, she found Polercise™ as an alternative and fun way to stay healthy and fit. Stehpanie teaches lyra, silks, and flexibility.
Nicolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in dance from Slippery Rock University. She has taught dance to all ages and levels for over ten years, and has choreographed & performed for over 20 years. Nicolyn's choreography, performance and make-up artistry can be seen in the feature film, "Zircus des Zelbst," an Isaac Rullo film. Nicolyn found Polercise™ after studying aerial silks in Pittsburgh. She teaches Ballet Booties, Intro to Silks & Intro to Lyra.
Taylor has trained in circus arts since 2007 and specializes in silks, hammock, hoop and contortion/stretching. She is from Dance and Circus Arts of Tampa Bay and has trained with many aerialists from all over the country. She used to perform with DCA’s company group, the Moving Arts of Tampa Bay and has been as far as Hollywood, CA performing. Taylor has had training in proper rigging along with safety techniques for teaching. When she moved to Melbourne, she found Polercise™ and is excited to share her knowledge.
Corinne Marie has her BA in the Fine and Performing Arts from Western Washington University. She has been a Zumba Fitness instructor for four years, teaching classes such as Aqua Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumba Gold, and Zumba Toning. She was thrilled to find Polercise™ after moving here from Seattle. Corinne loves the empowering friendships she's made within the at The Polercise™ Studio, and she is excited to get you moving, sweating, and cheering in Cardio Dance with us!
Brittany is has been hooping for five years. She started performing and instructing in 2013 everywhere from dance recitals to music venues. Brittany started teaching Hoop Dance at Polercise™ in 2015. During class, she focuses on movements that provide a creative sense of play. By exploring graceful movements, sharp angles, and acrobatics using your hoop.
Lindsay fell in love with pole fitness after her first class at Polercise™! She is our pole conditioning instructor, and brings her military experiences to her pole classes. Please don't be afraid ladies, she works you out in a fun way! Lindsay loves that pole incorporates fitness and fun, while giving you the confidence to feel sexy!
Jacque has been performing and training as a freelance aerialist since 2009. She is AFAA certified group fitness professional, and she has had training in proper rigging technique. Her aerial education started with pole fitness classes and then progressed through various aerial circus equipment. She teaches pole fitness, silks, lyra, dance, circuit & flexibility classes at Polercise™.
Shawna Newberry is the owner and founder of Brevard's only ALL Aerial Fitness Studio, Polercise™. Shawna is a certified & credentialed teacher. She graduated with a degree in education from the University of Northern Colorado and taught school for 12 years. She has combined her skills as a former teacher/coach to create a safe and comfortable environment for the ladies of every age, shape & size to work-out in a fun way!
Kat is the "Pole Mama" of Polercise™. She has been poling and performing since 2010. Her dance background extends to the mid 90s, when she served as the flyer in a hometown acrobatic dance troupe. Kat won first place in Tallahassee's 2011 Rock the Pole competition and has served as a judge for Miss Pole Champ USA. She is the "original Pole Mama for the Polercise™ Studio.
Katie comes to us from Clearwater Florida, with a strong history in Circus Arts. She has trained with numerous professional aerialists and contortionists. She has been studying Aerial Arts for the past four years. As well as a strong circus background, Katie has also studied many forms of flexibility and taking it as far as contortion. She has incorporated the two together and performed at many charity events for her hometown and BB's School of Dance and Circus Training. Katie teaches Silks, Lyra, and flexibility classes at Polercise™.
Angie joined Polercise™ after moving here from North Carolina where she was teaching pole fitness at another pole studio. She has a strong background in dance, ballet and tap. Angie teaches our Sexy Floorwork classes at Polercise™.
Jordan Weber discovered Aerial Arts and enjoyed training on silks and trapeze with the University of Florida Aerial Dance Club. She graduated with a degree in psychology and dance, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology at FIT. Jordan is a certified RTY-200hr yoga teacher and enjoys sharing this relaxing and mindful way to stretch and exercise the body.
